I have heard of certain lawless people passing Denver emissions with a 90 TT with JWT ECU, deleted EGR, deleted AIV, catless downpipes, and stock main cats. Deleting the charcoal canister cannot be detected by emissions testing because it simply recycles fuel vapors. I don't think anyone working at an e-test place could recognize a missing EGR system. A buddy of mine also heard that if you do have a problem passing, you could put a couple gallons of E-85 into an empty tank just for the test. Not sure if this works or not though. There is also a theoretic risk of corrosion to fuel lines and a REAL risk of running lean if you get into the boost (although E85 is 100 octane so that may be a protective factor).
